 My cell phone number is correct, but I’m not getting the text.

·       Try connecting them to the Wi-Fi.

·       Their individual bidding URL will appear under their name in the Bid Assistant.  Try typing that directly into their browser.

Do I have to download an app?

Guests do not have to download an app.  The bidding site will open in their phone’s browser (Chrome, Safari, etc).

How do I get a link?

A link is usually sent a few days prior to the event when the auction opens.  Guest information is verified and the link is resent when they check in at the start of the event.

How will I know if I am outbid?

They will get a text notification.

How will I know if I’m the winner?

A text will be sent to the winners only after the close of the auction.

I placed a bid/hit Buy Now by accident!  Can this be removed?

Yes, all bids can be removed if necessary.  Find your bidding lead and they will take care of removing the bids.

Do I have to do it on my phone?  Are there paper sheets as well?

All bidding must be done via the bidding site.  No bid sheets are available.

Can I make up my own increments?  What if I just want to increase the bid by $5?

The bid increments are standard to provide fair bidding to all guests.  In most cases, they are 10% if the package’s fair market value.

I want to Buy Now but pay more than the Buy Now amount.  Can I do that?

The guest should choose the Buy Now amount, and then let staff at checkout know if they want to increase their bid.

Yes, both members of the household can receive texts/links to their individual phones and be connected to the same account.

How do I get my packages after the auction?

An auction checkout/redemption area will be opened after the close of the program.  Packages may not be picked up before that time.
