WHY GO RED GOES STEM

Go Red for Women is focused on empowering women and improving their overall health and well-being.  As a science based organization, the American Heart Association recognizes the need to have more women at the table, making life-saving breakthroughs in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. With Go Red Goes STEM, we want to empower young women to take control of their health, and to consider a STEM career that could impact the health of all Americans. By encouraging girls to nourish their bodies and their minds, we can pave the way to a healthier future.

WHAT IS GO RED GOES STEM?

At this day-long event, participants will be exposed to some of Dane County’s leading science, technology and engineering companies. This event will consist of speed mentoring, breakout sessions led by top STEM-related organizations, and opportunities to make lasting connections with companies and women leaders. Girls will walk away knowing the impact they can make through a career in STEM!
