Many of you know about my passion around training and education and my love of technology.

This year, the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women team is hosting Go Red Goes STEM, an event focused on helping local high school girls explore STEM careers outside the classroom. As soon as I heard about it, I knew I wanted to be involved in this fantastic event.

The participants will have the opportunity to learn from female leaders in STEM careers through a series of panels, breakout sessions and one-on-one mentoring.

I'm so lucky to have amazing young women around me and I want them to have as much exposure and opportunity as possible in these important fields.

I'm asking my friends and family to help make this event successful through donations, and, if you're in the Madison area, possible participation.
